Dina Olímpico 1968

描述
Dina 323-G1/G2 || Dina Olímpico

This is the bus version (Public Transport) for the Dina Olímpico

The Dina 323-G1 (a.k.a. Dina Olímpico) was a licensed copy and modified version of the Flxible Flxiliner, and it was the second and last model built in cooperation with the Flxible Co. It's production run spanned from 1967 as 1968 model, to 1988, and had capacity for 38 passengers (with W.C.) or 41 passengers as factory configurations.
It received the nickname of Olímpico ("Olympic") as it was laucnh just in time for the XIX Olimpic Games celebrated in Mexico City on the same year.

Intercity Version (sunset harbor)

The main differences from its American counterpart were found in the rear section, taillights, and the addition of air bag suspension for extra cargo capacity and smoother ride. The access door and driver window seem to be from the previously built “Dina 311” (a.k.a Jorobado / "hunchback"), a licensed copy of the “Flxible Hi-Level”. This decision of keeping bits and pieces from previously built coaches, was probably a mix of trying to make a brand identity, repurposing existing tooling, and cost cutting measures.

Little Trivia
Due to the heavy taxes for imported buses at the time, the unfair advantage of a state funded company, and almost non-existent private competitors, made Dina basically the only option for the intercity coach market at the time.
