"Have other heroes braved these swamps and marshes before you?" - Crimson Court Loading Screen Tip

A while back, my Repeat Courtyard Bosses mod added in some additional bosses along with the basegame five. One of those new bosses was the Dread Hook, a group of crimson cursed heroes themed after the Red Hook party combo.

The boss itself can be found in rooms in campion Courtyard missions. While relatively rare and only spawning once per run, defeating the Dread Hook will always drop an item worth 9000 gold, so you have some incentive to fight them. I may add some unique trinkets in the future, should I have the time.

The assets in this mod were made by Polenya, and used with permission.

Also, did you update their spawn chance at all? because i just ran into them in two missions in a row.

No, it's because our level six heroes have the death's door mechanic. Maybe you could give them all a bit more hp or prot to compesate. And since they've been afected by the crimson curse so much to the point of mutating like other the bloodsuckers from the courtyard, their skills could look a bit diferent. The obvious strat to fight them is to kill the mutated vestal asap so maybe change the mutated crusader's bullwark to be a guard skill?

Balance was never my strong suit . Also iirc they have identical stats to level 6 heroes so if they’re weak it’s because the Red Hook party composition is weak, I guess.

Okay, after downloading the mod back in 2023 i finally found them. Not complaning about the spawn chances tho they should feel rare to run into. But aren't they a bit weak? i killed them all by round three.

Well actually i tried again after your comment and it works now, haven't seen them yet tho. But now oddly enough this is happening to another mod, so it's probably not knave's fault.

I actually have the same problem as powerfull, no clue why. i won all this games dlc and have never interacted with a mod that has does this before, across any game steam workshop

This changed the heroes in the SinglePlayer Butcher Circus mod
