Description

This mod is my personal collection of tweaks. Over the years I've made a lot of changes for myself that I haven't released because they're too small, it's too time consuming and they probably wouldn't garner much interest. This is my personal tweaks collection ported over to the XML Extensions mod in a nice fancy package.

As a result it has a proper options menu where you can enable any tweak you like and customise several of them by inputting numbers. All tweaks are disabled by default and can be enabled individually. Where possible default input settings use vanilla numbers, in places where vanilla numbers don't exist my own default numbers are used.

To avoid mod conflicts with individual tweaks this mod should be loaded near the end of your mod list.

Tweaks can be enabled in the mod settings menu. When enabling tweaks make sure to check your active mod list for any mods that might do the same thing. Having both active at once will likely result in errors or issues. The severity of which will vary depending on what the mod/tweak is attempting to do.

This mod says its incompatible with your mod X?

If one of my mods is listed as incompatible it means that this tweaks collection includes it. Any mods that could be customised in some way such as More Quests will have a proper settings menu for people to adjust as they like.

Can you do X?

If it's related to one of the existing tweaks then I likely will. For other things the answer to this question is probably going to be largely no. This is my own personal tweaks collection prettied up and packaged for others to use. I don't really intend to go adding everything people suggest as a tweak. If you can make a convincing argument on why the tweak you want annoys not you but me then I'll consider it.

Can you support X mod for an existing tweak?

When it comes to mod support I generally support mods as I use them. I use a large selection of Vanilla and Alpha series mods so most of them should be supported. If one of my tweaks doesn't support a mod leave a comment in the thread linked below and I'll see about adding it.

Hi, I'm having trouble adjusting the length of the Conversion ritual cooldown. I set it to one day, restarted, but the cooldown is still the unusably long vanilla time. Is there a def or something I could check in Visual XML patches that would show me what overrides it? Thanks!

Sitting here after a few hours confused why none of my tweaks are taking effect. I got back in to check the settings and this realize "wait... I saw the giant red text first time and got too excited and forgot to restart dumb thing" :D

I am still not able to plant the night grass outside of the glowforest unless I roof over it first. Maybe there is nothing that can be done about it, though.

I was just spawning it in the same map, as if a mech cluster had landed.
Spawn thing > SunBlocker

You can also do it from the world map.
Spawn Site > SunBlocker

Where was the option for spawning it? I fixed it to act exactly like plants like mushrooms so it should just take light level into account. If not I'll have to look into it again later.

I was wanting to be able to plant it anywhere, even if it will die later on, such as on a normal map that is affected by a sunblocker, not on a glowforest tile.

Is there any way around this limitation, or did you already fix it so I can plant it anywhere?

Don't ask me how I screwed that up so badly. I added the missing planting tag and changed the parentdef to be the same as for cave plants. I was trying to test it with a sunblocker but I couldn't figure out how to trigger one. It does give a warning about light when selecting to plant it out in the open in a Glowforest but they can plant it. So I'm not sure what's with that. I think it should believe correctly now hopefully.

I am trying to plant the night pasture grass, but it is not showing up in the list of plants to sow. I think it is because it is missing this tag:

<sowTags>
<li>Ground</li>
</sowTags>

However, when I add the tags, the grass shows up but then it says it requires a roof in order to plant it even when there is a sunblocker on the map. Is there a way around this?

I know it's added with VE Empire. I was just wondering if you had an option for disabling it that isn't listed or I managed to miss.
