Plattenbau Berlin KK-KG 80-180 No.1-2

Hello Folks,

also part of the Berlin-Fennpfuhl-Collaboration on the allbuilds Discord[discord.com],
this "Plattenbau" kindergarten has finally been created for Cities:Skylines. You can get the kindergarten plus its backyard/playground here.[www.allbuilds.org]



This building type originated in East-Berlin and was built all around the city.
Nowadays most buildings are renovated, but I chose to recreate them how they should've looked like beforehand.



The 2 included buildings have been named by a system I hope is at least somewhat understandable.
"BER" is short for Berlin, the city these buildings have been planned and built in.
"VSE" stands for "Vorschuleinrichtung", or "preschool".
"KK-KG" indicates that this is a combination between a "Kinderkrippe" and "Kindergarten", so ages between 1-3 and 4-6.
"80-180" is the amount of places for children each part of the building has, so 260 places altogether.
The "No.#" stands for each version of the building.



The buildings can be found under their names, starting with "BER VSE KK-KG 80-180" or alternatively by searching for "Plattenbau".
As there is no vanilla kindergarten, this building works as an elementary school instead.
The stats are the same as the vanilla elementary, except they are multiplied by 0.87.
A large portion of the concrete panels on the facade is color mapped, 4 colors included.

Here's a list of all the HEX-colors used:

• white: FFFFFF

The buildings are on a 8x6 plot.
The main texture files are shared, so using the Loading Screen Mod to cut down on file size is advised.
