Rerratia - A Word Scramble Mod

Have you ever heard some words together and felt like they would be funnier if some letters were switched here and there? Now, imagine if that was true. True and... for every item in Terraria!

Rerratia: a Word Scramble Mod changes the name of (almost) every item in the game to a point where it's still relatively recognizable yet way more stupid. Rerratia is the perfect mod for players who want a great laugh throughout their gameplay, and for people who believe they don't feel headaches enough in their lives.

When changing the names, I followed some basic rules:

• Each name gets at least two letters shuffled, longer names may even get entire syllbles shuffled;
  
• The intent of the scramble is to make it sound funny when spoken or read;
  
• Not all words get shuffled, if if makes the rest of the name better;
  
• The new name needs to be pronounceable;
  
• The words are not fully scrambled, to the point a completely new and irrelevant word is formed;
  
• The amount of each letter in a name is kept intact;
  
• The pattern on where to scramble words depends on the complexity and pronounciation of the names.

There are only very few ecxeptions to these rules, but they never end up unrecognizable from the original name, which is the main objective of Rerratia.

Just to clarify: I have changed almost all items. I have skipped some items because either it would have taken longer to complete and release Rerratia, or I felt like it would be... "disrespectful" for the people involved. Here are the items I haven't renamed:

• Themed Furniture (Mushroom Chair, Marble, Table, etc.)
  
• Monster Banners
  
• Paintings
  
• Developer/Content creator sets and items
  
• Graveyard Walls
  
• Trophies and Relics
  
• Christmas Tree Decorations
  
• Butterflies (why are there so many!?)
  
• Potted Plants

I might one day complete some of the item names like themed furnitures and the butterflies, but I'm not that interested in doing as of release. I hope you understand.


This mod is not recommended for new players, since you will probably get lost on the item names.

It is also probably not recommended for Journey Mode, since you will definitely not find the items through their original names anymore.

Rerratia is only available for the English (en-US) version of Terraria.

This mod has no intention to be offensive to anyone, so I have avoided derogatory terms when scrambling words. However, I did not stop when the new name had swears or dirty words, because in my opinion it still fits in the funny category.

With that in mind, It's also not recommended for younger players.

(If a name ended up having any derogatory term I'm not aware of, please contact me and I'll change it as soon as possible!)
