Hemogen Medicine Cures Bloodloss

描述
A standalone version can be located at this link below. I'm going to leave this one up for those that prefer Azurami's art assets.
Standalone version

A mod that enables Azurami's "Hemogen Medicine" to treat to bloodloss in several ways.

  • Whenever you tend a pawn's injuries, and are using Hemogen Medicine, it will treat their bloodloss by a variable percentage (adjustable in mod settings).
  • A new operation has been added. "Hemogen Medicine Blood Transfusion". Treats bloodloss, using the same variable percentage that is adjustable in the mod settings. Due to this being performed with a prepared medical kit, it's much faster than using just a hemogen pack. This operation also restores Hemogen to Hemogenic individuals




This is Dog with Afro's first mod, so if you find any issues let him know in the comments.




Q: My pawn has bloodloss, but I can't tend to him with the hemogen medicine!
A: The way the mod works, is that if you tend a pawn and use the hemogen medicine, it cures the bloodloss (if they have it). Bloodloss is not normally something you can tend to, and this mod does not change that. So to have it fix bloodloss, they need to have something wrong with them (such as a gunshot wound) to tend.

Q: What are the requirements?
A: The requirements are Hemogen Medicine (duh) and Harmony.

Q: Hemogen Medicine should be more effective than normal Hemogen packs!
A: You can adjust the amount of blood loss recovered in the mod settings. The default value is 0.35



This is a submod of Hemogen Medicine by Azurami. So credit to them for the base mod. The source code is freely available on github (link below), and if the original authors would like to add this to their mod, they are free to do so.

@Leaf unfortunately this is a submod, meaning it requires another mod (which itself hasn't been updated)

If you want the same functionality, plus some more, check out my standalone mod

Is there a chance that you'd consider either creating a standalone mod of the Artifical Hemogen Pack or adding the recipe for it to this addon for Azurami's "Hemogen Medicine"?

(I'm torn on which version to use as I'd prefer using Azurami's "Hemogen Medicine", but I'd still like to be able to use the recipe for Artificial Hemogen.)

aha I just find out that I mixed out the "blood bag" from Medical Iv mod and this mod. This mods working as intended. Also, dog with afro is cute af i wanna steal it away and put a little blanket on its tummy.

@ThatCozyBear Which setting are you referring to? Like when you restrict what medicine can be used on a pawn? I just tested it out and if you have a pawn set to herbal medicine or below, then it will not allow the operation for some reason. After looking over the code I don't quite understand why that would happen, either.

When I have "gliter medicine or worse" enable, the setting prevents me from using Hemogen Medicine Blood Transfusion, what should I do to have it working? Thank you!

@the traveler okay i updated the mod!
-Added a new operation "Hemogen Medicine Blood Transfusion". It's about 2x as fast as the normal blood transfusion and requires Hemogen Medicine to complete. This operation also recovers hemogen for hemogenic pawns
-Added mod settings to adjust how effect Hemogen Medicine is at recovering blood loss (the default value is the same as Hemogen Packs)
