boss, where should I change the settings file? I can't find the relevant settings in the MOD file directory.

This mod still works on 1.5
The Config screen is just borked, but you can still just manually edit the config file and it works normally. There is two options:
> "storytellerEvents" (where the events spawned conforms to the storyteller difficulty curve - which i assume won't just spawn threats randomly if its true) and
> "eventEveryValue" (which is the interval between events in number of hours)

still no update so sad this mod is essential.. is there another mod that does the same?

I think this mod need blacklist for events which the player does not want to see.
Scenario blocking doesnt help with this :(
