The United States Marine Corps,, having to have first saw action at the time of the American Revolutionary War in 1776 during the Invasion of the Bahamas, was the central oceanic backbone to the United States Military. And were used heavily throughout the American Civil War, and World War I.

Despite being one of the most strongest military arms within the United States, the USMC would eventually receive a heavy blow during the last years of World War I, during the Ireland Campaign in 1919, which led to the most bloodiest and destructive 9 month engagement of the entire conflict, where over 87 percent of the Invasion was conducted by the United States Marine Corps. Despite gaining grounds during the first 5 months of the Invasion, the USMC would eventually be forced into a stalemate that would last 3 months, until a crushing British counterattack would eventually overrun their position, leading ot the loss of almost 4 million Marine forces across the entire landscape, regarding the Ireland Campaign as the most blackest day for the United States Marine Corp.

During the time of World War II many years later the United States would eventually reinforce the Marine Corps by the year 1938, one year before the Invasion of Poland, in order to prevent a second Irish Campaign from occurring in the future. They would go on to fight during the Pacific War at the time of 1941, while the majority of the US army was concentrated on Land in Eastern Europe, France and even Canada years earlier since 1939, leaving the Pacific War solely to the USMC with only minimal regular army units being present.

Though the Pacific War would actually turn out well for the United States, the ongoing wars in the Invasions of Canada, the Soviet Union, and the severe struggle to keep hold of France with Nazi Germany would eventually cause supplies to be stretched thin by the time of 1944, forcing the US Marines to be diverted from the Pacific to reinforce other fronts across the planet. This in turn would eventually pave the way Operation Sea Vulture, which was conducted by the Soviet Union in 1945, jointly with the Empire of Japan, which in turn turned the tide of the entire Pacific War in favor of the Red Star Empire, causing the US to lose the majority of Islands that they captured since 1942, and the war eventually reaching Alaska that same year, which would eventually last for over 3 years until an Armistice was signed in 1948, ending the Second World War.

In the aftermath of the Second World War, the USMC suffered heavy losses totaling to almost a quarter million, with causalities mostly being suffered in both Canada and the Eastern Front, where despite the Pacific War being their main front, it was claimed by Sgt Gregory Brannon in 1944, that the fighting in Eastern Europe was alot more deadlier then anything the Japanese Empire ever did in the Pacific.

@CookieCael[3CB] Also those are not German Helmets they were actually American Designed Helmets which dated all the way back to the 1898 known as the Trororan Helmets, The US already had helmets before anyone else in Europe could adopt it., as hard helmets at the time were adopted in the United States as far as 1870 during the American Civil War, it was first adopted by the Confederate States of America which introduced the Georgia Helmet, then by the Union 2 years later in 1872 which introduced the Michigan Iron Plates. So yeah American pretty much invented the design for the German Helmets, long before Germany even became an Independent Nations.

@CookieCael[3CB] Alternate history based off of my Confederate Conquest Trilogy, in this story the US is on the side of the Axis, mainly due to the world treating them very poorly ever since the 22 Year American Civil War Ended in 1883, and them having to suffer from harsh depressions far worse then the one in real life which plagued the 30s.
