Better Food Selection

描述
Since ports have only 8 slots, and there are 11 types of food, three food types would be left aside on every new save, so, I decided to select the most important ones according to research I did about what kind of food they carried on uboats.

The three food types that will be left aside now are dried fish, canned bread and canned fish.


I also changed the price for some food types (tested on hard economy difficulty on early 1941):

Potatoes: 20
Fresh bread: 24
Cheese: 24
Vegetables: 28
Preserved Pork: 30
Canned Meat: 32
Sausages: 40
Exotic Fruits: 58



I'd like to suggest the Authentic Goods mod by Menace, it makes the items look more realist!

I don't think this mod is needed anymore, the game now has a system where you buy a whole slot and it changes randomly to another food type, now allowing for acess to all foods

Fun fact: There are also oil spills in the files but also haven't been developed further

In the files there was supposed to be a vitamin, morale boost and expiration system depending on the foodt ype

But it wasn't implemented, might be someday, who knows

I get that, I'm still left wondering why they would design it so a price difference doesn't actually do anything. I've been buying expensive food because the description implies it will give more benefits, but alas.

Game mode settings, after a while you get to have alot of sparing money, over the hungreds of thousands, so, by selecting the hardcore economy option you will have to grind more and won't get that happening so soon




By the way, yes, price listed above de-escalates if you choose an easier economy
