i managed to find the fix to the Armor layout bug!

you changed the "XOR = {}" Syntax to "#xor = {}" but the brackets are on different lines

Demonstration:
XOR = {

}

this works cause it's all one argument

#xor - {

}

this doesn't work because the pound makes it a comment, the end bracket thus is not a comment and causes a Syntax error, and FOR SOME REASON, the armor belts are the only naval tech with XOR syntax

i suggest going through the entire mod again and fixing all the "#xor" changes because i have no idea what other things broke from these changes

Last screenshot, does your mod contain the special forces selection (that was dropped a few patches ago)?

the branch in question might be below the cruiser ships, on the 1st navy page, where you can research armor

I do own it, but I don't quite understand what y'all mean, where would I normally find that branch in vanilla hoi4?

it might be because you don't own the Man The Guns DLC

Where is that branch in the base game? I cant seem to find it anywhere - havent played hoi4 for like 6 months really
