Harrys Tow Truck - Proper edition [Build 41] Java Option

This mod is NOT mine, if the mod owners update their work or ask me to take this down, I will.

This is the stand alone fully functional Harrys Tow Truck from @harrycheez and later edited by @Enobdercas. Included is a stand alone stripped version of Better Towing by @Aiteron so there are no dependencies. The tow hook and trailer hitch work seperatly while the tow bar and tow rope have been removed. The original Rhino model has been slightly altered so it can turn better while towing.

This is my first and likely only mod so I'm not very good at it but I wanted a proper working towtruck and I figured others might want it too.

* Animated doors, windows, and hood.
* A generic interior.

I've added a java class file to the mod and am giving you the choice to install it or not.
Stock
-If you choose to run this mod straight out of the box, then understand that the base game restricts towing a vehicle by constantly applying the brakes making it rather difficult towing anything from the front. So I recommend towing vehicles from the rear bumper, this works much better.

Stock Java
-If you would like to tow from the front or rear with the same ease, then you can install the included "CarController.class" file located at

"Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\TowTruckMod\mods\common\zombie\core\physics"

This file will need to be copied and pasted over the original file located at

"Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid\zombie\core\physics"

This will not mess up the games ability to update but will require you to reinstall the .class file after. (As long as nothing changes from the Dev side)
All i did was comment out the lines that apply the brakes, so it's stock otherwise.

it now uses svu3 instead of svu2

+1 crashes when use "up" - without backup save is unplayable anymore

+1 can't craft de front bullbar here

Some user repport a game crash when towing vehicle and use the "UP" option into the V vehcile to take vehicle higher :/

Don't know if it's a me thing, but the bull bar craft for this vehicle seems to not allow you to actually craft it anymore.

Would it be possible to commission a version of this (and the B42 version) that don't spawn the Rhino? Just looking for the awesome tow-truck functionality
