The Republic is the main governing body of Human space. Controlling the Republic is the Parliament, made up of representatives from all over the galaxy. Representation in the Parliament is based on population, making it so that some large and rich planets dominate the Parliament while sometimes entire sectors of planets have just one representative.

The military fleet of the Republic is the Navy. They patrol and protect the Republic from threats. Any well respected naval officer will uphold their oath, and fight for the republic until all means of defense are exhausted.

This is a recreation collection from the game Endless sky, you can find it on steam and play it for free. If you like cosmoteer, you might like it.
