Grass Is Still Hay

@Kotonbike - I ended up making my own version including every grass and plant from all DLCs, and the mod VGP Vegetable Garden in the end. The pincushion cactus plant in my version drops 2 wood like the other plants, but if VGP in enabled, drops 1 cactus fruit instead ^^

As for the errors reported presenting when the DLC is not present, it's coz you've put them in without MayRequire Flags. You can also just use load folders - take a look at mine if you're unsure how to do this: Worthless Plants

@Monkey Magic, added pincushion cactus as a bush, now it drops 2 trees

@SongAngel - Check your mod list, there's probably a conflict somewhere. This mod works without issues with just the Core and DLC, so it's not the mod causing your errors.

@Kotobike - please consider adding pincussion cactus as a wood-dropping "bush" for deserts. Currently they drop nothing, even with this mod enabled. Thanks ^^

finally found a mod that does this for the odyssey grass, incredible work!

I can remove the grass from the odyssey, then the error will disappear)

Mod throws errors in base 1.6 without Odyssey DLC installed.

This started to give red errors about missing Plant_YellowGrass and Plant_YellowTallGrass (I don't own Odissey expansion).

Updated, now drops yellow grass from odyssey meadows, Thanks M0rr1s0n :)
also added blue grass from Glowforest

Doesn't work with the Glowforest Blue Grass, when that grass is cut no hay is made.

The Odyssey DLC added a "yellow grass" which spawns in dry biomes, so its even more fitting for giving hay after cutting :D Maybe you can add them too. DefName is Plant_YellowGrass and Plant_YellowTallGrass in Plants_Wild.xml. Thank you!
