3.He continued his studies with the Society, working on his machine in secret. Comparing his private studies to the studies of Society, he discovered that the artifacts collected by the society could allow him to face the things beyond.
4.Opening Line: "He has attracted the ire of both the order and the things beyond; he would have to work quickly." Ending Line: "It is done, now mankind has a fighting chance."
5. Brethren of the Society were sent to recover the artifacts and to dispatch the offender. They found workshop burnt and littered with papers; the artifacts nor the thief was no where to be found.

1.A student of the sciences, he sought out long forgotten practices thinking himself a pioneer. Nevertheless, his research papers had caught the attention of a secret society. Through a common colleague, they inducted him and entrusted him to explore a recently excavated ruin.
2.I don't know what the starting line should be but the ending line should be "He returns to the order seemingly empty handed, withholding the fork from his superiors, overcome with visions of a glorious machine."
