描述
Outdated: New Version
Only for use with old game versions

Overview:
Varies the speed of convoys and ships between a configurable min and max percentage of maximum speed.
Default: 40% to 95% of max speed.

Save game compatible.

Settings File
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\494840\2882291123\Data Sheets\ShipSpeedSettings.xlsx

Settings
  • Vary Convoy Velocity Scale (Default: True)
    Vary speed for ships using the convoy velocity scale: Convoys and Transports
  • Vary Patrol Velocity Scale (Default: True)
    Vary speed for ships using the patrol velocity scale: Warships, Fishing boats, etc.
  • Minimum Scale (Default: 40%)
    The Minimum speed coefficent.
  • Maximum Scale (Default: 95%)
    The Maximum speed coefficent.
  • Ignore Patrol Speed (Default: True)
    When True, Patrol Speed will not overwrite randomized speed.

  • Debug Logging (Default: False)
    When True, prints out log statements about groups and speeds as they are applied.

I encountered a lone C3 freighter crossing the atlantic at 19kn

According to the manual they only go up to 16.5kn

I have the scale at 30%-110%, but I think that the result should be clamped to the max speed of ships

Well, just thought it would be awesome if the knots vary, but still stay in range of the historical values of the related convoys.
But it's probably very hard to do so I was just thinking out loud I guess. :)

Are you posting on the mod you meant to dreepa?

Uboat expanded is the one that adds more convoys and focuses on historical accuracy.

This mod as far as I can tell just allows for variability in convoy speed so a guess of "7 knots" isn't always accurate.
