Built for Reforged Eden 1.9!

Type: Short Range Mining CV
Tier 1, 196.705 CPU (Core 1)
Size Class: 1 (0,26)
Unlock Level: 25

A minimal mining CV with 4 Drills and only 3 Blocks height. Built to fit inside the Hangar of medium sized Carrier CVs, like my Solar Explorer (for that one you have to land from the front).
No weapons, no warp. Has a compact shield generator but no shield upgrades.

Width is 9 Blocks, but can be reduced to 7 if you remove the thin blocks at the sides.

178k Harvest

Detector
4x Laser Drills.

LCDs are modifications from sulusdacors LCD Library, so a big thanks to him for his amazing work!

In Reforged Eden? Imho the drill turret is already outclassed by as little as 2 fixed drill lasers.

how would u compare 4 fixed cv lasers like this build vs a cv Drill turret?
From my preliminary testing it seems 4 fixed vs tool turret its slightly faster

@Blu: yes, you can dock all CVs to other CV. You just need to ensure you haven't anything docked in the CV you want to dock.

If you swap the spotlight out for the sloped horizontal and swap the cockpit out for cockpit 1 or captains chair you get a slightly improved field of view, awesome little ship.

Not sure why anyone would do that. You can always just remove the CPU extenders and have a "CPU off" build. The other way round it is not that easy, so if you want a build that is useable for a lot of people it makes sense to build for CPU.

On a sidenote, be aware this build is for the Reforged Eden Scenario and in that for a (albeit popular) niche use case. If you are new to the game it might be a good idea to not directly start with Reforged Eden but do a Vanilla playthrough until you know the basics. Reforged Eden can be a quite harsh mistress :)
