The Leipzig is an advanced factory ship by EuroSpace Industries - meaning it can produce everything strike force could need during long term deployment. It usually stays out of combat, serving mostly as a supply & repair ship, with powerful engines, should it need to retreat. However, it also has a single missile launcher to repel smaller, faster ships.

I'll probably give the new version a modular container system like the Magpies and my new tier 1 factory ship has. This being the tier 2 factory though means it should always have the facilities to produce everything in the game. I think it's just nice to have the possibility for potential strategy changes.

I'm using it as a replacement for 2 Magpie-5C, so maybe no weapons and more storage? Still tinkering with its internals since I don't plan on using it to make ammunition/missles/mines.

Yeah, I'm gonna update this ship soon. Maybe I can make it cheaper with less crew.

Finally got to build this. I only had enough Fame for 1/4th of the crew complement, but it still works.
