Chimera II-Class Heavy Cruiser
Price : 1 167 000
Weight : 2 540,2 metric ton
Max speed : 47,2 m/s

"The Chimera II is a Heavy Cruiser from the manufacturer Atlas, it has deviated from its original design and lost its tractor beam for a better survivability and to improve its combat capabilities. It is able to destroy his opponents thanks to powerful weapons of different sizes while being able to resist well thanks to a thick armor well distributed on all the sides and powerfull shield that are fast to regenerate. (The legend tells that the Chimera waits to be able to accomodate quarters for marines to become a true boarding ship). It possesses a great speed for its size and its weight and can thus intercept ships of average size or equivalent to its."

IMPORTANT: These ships are brand new so do not hesitate to give your opinion so I can improve the ships according to your feedback. Don't hesitate to give ideas of ships to build in the style of Atlas, I would be happy to try to do it!

Np. You can also put energy storages next to far away systems and specialize crew to haul triple batteries there and then have other crew distribute it from there. It's like having a small reactor right next to the hull, but it doesn't explode and costs a fraction of an actual reactor.

Thanks for the feedback, I had no idea about the triple battery on a large reactor, I will update the design to fix that.

Way too much energy. Ships like this should only use large reactors. Large reactors produce triple size batteries, making crew three times as effective. Not only does this mean you need less crew, but also have the option of placing systems up to three times as far away to achieve the same crew efficiency as you have now.
