"The Hydra is the pride of the Atlas manufacturer, it is a true fortress with thick armor combined with numerous front shields protecting the weapons to maintain optimal firepower. Don't be too quick to judge the size of the Hydra's weapons, once in range these heavy broadsides will make any shields or armor disappear quickly. Thanks to its many weapons with a wide field of view, this battleship can engage many targets around it while resisting with a well distributed armor around the ship. Be careful though, because the range of the weapons is not very large, so you have to keep close to the enemy and avoid fighting against fast sniper ships, even though the speed of the ship is relatively high for its size and weight, allowing the Hydra to keep up with its enemies."

I must say that i have used this design and did so, so, many new versions because im just in love with it

I think this is already great, a few minor modifications could be made to improve upon it and make it relatively the same. I see the rear as a major point for attack by my dreadnoughts (I have yet to post any), so maybe move the vitals away from points of rail-gun impact? I recommend adding shields that cover the sides, as in my testing the sides are a failed attempt at protection. If you make those improvements and re-post this, I'd see a lot more value off of this monstrosity.

its really sad that the nice and sleek looking ships never get close to an efficient layout in this game... it really needs more options for facilities and a tech tree to counter the imbalance here. =)
