Welcome to Jaggedsprings, an up and coming Wild West RP server set in the early 1900s. Jaggedsprings is unique Wild West RP server with many custom and unique features which make it stand out from from the norm.
This map is the fourth generation of rp_wildwest and the third generation of rp_jaggedsprings. We have almost entirely overhauled the map, making it almost unrecognisable from its original apart from the basic layout.
“Jagged Springs was first a coal mining Boom Town established in 1872, providing refuge and entertainment for the settling prospectors and workers. Boom towns were built in areas of industry connected to the trans-continental railroad also known as the golden spike railroad. This initially allowed heavy quantities of goods to be moved into the western areas from the south giving disgruntled southerners a place to go where new lives could be started opening the doors to business opportunity and prosperity. This railroad eventually grew, connecting the eastern states to the docks of Washington DC.
This opened a wide market for goods of all sorts, Jagged Springs providing coal to all areas in connection with the Golden spike. Over time however and as coal deposits began to dwindle, Jagged Springs was being left behind in terms of technological growth, as its main source of income was decreasing day by day...
Come 1895, Jagged Springs was given a new opportunity to grow as a ground-breaking discovery was made. Coal miners had begun to find small deposits of gold in the already existing mine shafts. Not only this, but beneath the Divide waterfall prospectors also found small nuggets of gold whilst panning the dirt of the rivers bed.
The discovery would escalate the mining operation which by present day has allowed the town to catch up technologically. Affluent businessmen began to appear with luxuries such as motorcars and finely tailored clothing. Jagged Springs has a bright future ahead of it, but its fate is yet to be determined.”

Last time we added:
*Flattened the roads to make it easier for horses to traverse.
*Added a new stone bridge for cars to use.
*Added a lake near Greenwood town.
*Added a bank.
*Added a town hall.
*Added a new town square.
*Added walls around the town.
*Added 3 new buildings around the town square.
*Added basement to shack in Greenwood.
*Added an entirely new area "The Bayou".
*Added an admin room.
*Added Jaggedsprings.com Logos to the train station.
*Removed a couple of trees.

This time around we've added/changed:
*Entirely new street
*Church in Greenwood
*Updated "Fillcum Ridge" with more buildings including a Saloon
*Added a working train
*Overhauled the Greenwood train station
*Added custom period correct posters
*Changed the lake
*Added new buildings around Greenwood
*Replaced the Manor with a small camp
*Edited existing buildings to be more open allowing for more creative building
*Edited terrain around Greenwood
*Turned one side of the map to desert entirely
*Made the Bayou smaller
*Updated Saw Mill
*Changed the Town Hall again
