Unit Packs for Extended Timeline

Updated to 1.37

This Extended Timeline submod includes reskins of DLC unit packs for specific tags in the Extended Timeline mod for nations in Persia and the surrounding regions.

These unit sprites can also be used in Custom Nations.

The Third Rome and Cradle of Civilization unit pack DLCs are required for the mod, since I have no 3d modelling experience and just wanted to reskin existing EU4 models for fun.

Currently, this mod includes Tier 1 unit skins for the Infantry and Cavalry of:
  • Parthia
  • Sassanids
  • Armenia
  • Georgia
  • Ghurids / Ghor
  • Hephthalites
  • Kushan Empire
  • Saffarids

  • Bukhara / Samanids (NEW)
  • Adiabene / Assyria / Babylonia (NEW)

I plan to continue adding more units in future updates!

@Nova Roma It's only one model, but I did add a model for Tier 2 Ottomans with Janissaries in my other Warriors of the Crescent unit mod: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1852663246

I am definitely still interested in making more Ottoman unit models, but it's mostly just a matter of finding the time for it besides the other stuff I'm working on at the moment. But I do agree that the Ottomans could have their own standalone unit mod with the amount of models that could be made for them

Can you make more historic and cooller Ottoman unit models for vanilla? And standalone ottoman or turkish unit mod pack would be great.

Updated to 1.36. ET also changed the tag for Sassanids, so just released a fix to make sure the units appear for the Sassanids. Some more units are also still work in progress, so hopefully they can be finished soon

@Third Dimension Thank you for the suggestions. I won't be able to make modern units since I don't have any 3d modelling experience, I just make skins that change existing models.
However, I am currently working on a Victorian-era unit pack for ET with unit models that change in the 1800s, which is at least more modern.

im really intrested in sassanids if u can make more units for sassanids and other iranian regions it would be great

im very exited for ur mod i think it has a great potential, i have alots of recommendations ;}
i think a pink sassanids on the map would be more accurate and interesting ,also is it possible for u to make the sassanid cavalry more colorful???i think that would be really great,
if u make units for eastern roman as well that would be nice ,,,
i also think if u make samanids zoroastrian it would be nice cause they were zoroastrian at first and then they converted to islam an it would be a chance for the player to reclaim iran from arabs
sorry if its alot to ask but i really enjoy the mod thats why i want to make it better;}
