{Warning this map does have some custom models in the environment, you might wanna host a local server and set "sv_consistency 0" in console if you encounter consistency issues}

12 years ago Silent Hill 1 was remade in Left 4 dead by Leafo The Great, I've been waiting for someone to make a SH 2 map ever since. it doesn't seem anyone is making one so, after 500 hours, an unnumbered amount of tutorials and a full map rebuild here's where I'm at with my first mod

I started making this map before I even knew how to operate the level creator, so if you encounter any problems or have advice please let me know! I want to make this something enjoyable.

{8/5/2024} yes, I am still working on this. it consumes my thoughts daily and I won't be able to stop thinking about it until it is finished

I thought thats already in a making (based on James and Maria running from Pyramid Head to the elevator), but i accidently doomed all future players

Silent Hill 1 was awesome to plai through (although painful at first due how long whole run is, players in lobby endured that and me cryin for help lel). yes, though I don't work on this as consistently as I used to. sometimes I wake up on days and just wanna work to do something for the campaign for at least a few hours of the day, other days I just let other things take up my time. I do miss my fire of how committed I was before when I was working on it every day, but as time has gone on I've learned about a lot of people that go full force into something for a really long time and then they burn out and quit the project, so I think my slower burn approach will lead to the campaign's completion being inevitable. I post updates in the discord you can find in the description when there's something I think is worth talking about. rest assured if there's no big red {CANCELLED} text in one of the photos or description then it is still going, the only way I wouldn't tell everyone I stopped working on it completely is if I died, Silent Hill is very special to me
