Cities of Wonders 3 + The Kings' Cities Compatch (LEGACY)

描述
June 1st, 2025 update: the most recent Cities of Wonders update has removed the burges' holding types in favor of having a modifier applied to counties; this means that this mod is no longer needed, unless you play with some old legacy version. I'll keep this file hosted on the Workshop, but there's very little, if any, use for it any more.

Simply play with Cities of Wonders 3 and The Kings' Cities both enabled; they will work together.

The Compatch for Valaddar's Cities of Wonders 3.

This allows for you to own cities as well as metropolis. At the start of the game, all mayoral vassals have been removed and attached to their local count-level lord.
This isn't an AI mod, so I can't fix how the AI assigns these titles

Note: this does NOT require you to subscribe to my The Kings' Cities mod; your loading order should be your favorite version of Cities of Wonder, then this Compatch

This compatch used to be used for Kurthakon's Cities of Wonders 2 and Ambitions' Fan Fork (for 1.8), but those editions are very old. Unless anyone really wants to backlog for to 2022 and before, as of August 2024, I will only be updating for CoW3.

Question: Will there be a version of this for the After the End mod eventualy (it's currently in beta), as it also uses metropoli, or would this just work with this by itself?

Thank you for this! There is a compatch by Jimothy called Grander Buildings Compatch COW2 Extension that included compatibility between these mods but it's nice to have one specifically designed for it.

On quick inspection, it also appears to work with Ambitions' update. I'll update the descriptions regarding this

Does this work only with the original CoW2 mod or does it work with the more updated Fan Fork one?
