Asura Chi [v1.2.1 - SP/MP COMPATIBLE]

Learn to manipulate Chi, the primal energy that exist on everything, to survive in this cruel world. Kill, loot and collect, turn the odds in your favor with useful items made of materialized Chi.

This mod adds a new item called Chi, available only in zombie corpses and offers a new set of useful items to survive, made of cristallized chi or amalgam materials created with condensed chi. They are less powerful than their regular counterparts, but far more durable, lightweight and most of them can be used as tools like hammers, axes or even a sledgehammer. The more OP the item, the more materials it'll need to be created.

This mod is basically designed to streamline various "everyday" tasks like looting, construcion and skill grind... With style and in a fantasy-like way. Ideal for playthroughs in wilderness settings or using mods that add special zombies.

I've used models from the game itself and used the vanilla textures with a few tweaks to create the style so everything has the same vanilla sizes. Some custom sounds are also added, compressed enough to have little to no impact on the engine. It's not the best artistic work and definitely not lore friendly or realistic at all, but I'm quite happy with the results. The idea came from an old mod I've made for Kenshi (called Asura Chi too)

Think on this as a QOL cheat mod, but not so cheaty. You can still die!

• 5 New materials (Chi, Condensed chi, Crystalized chi, Amalgam leather, Amalgam glass)
  
  
• 1 Drug called Edible chi that gives you an energy boost with penalties: Thirst, hunger, stress and also it'll make you drunk
  
  
• 2 drugs based on Edible chi (Diluted edible chi, Concentrated edible chi)
  
  
• 7 New melee weapons/tools (Crystal stake, Crystal spear, Crystal bar, Enhanced crystal bar, Crystal axeblade, Crystal nikana, Crystal spadeblade)
  
  
• 2 New ranged quiet, fast and very weak weapons... But not so weak on expert hands. (Crystal conduit, Enhanced crystal conduit)
  
  
• 3 Useful items (Cristal orb, Amalgam bottle, Amalgam morphball)
  
  
• 3 Clothing items (Amalgam goggles, Amalgam gas mask, Amalgam suit)
  
  
• 6 New bags (Amalgam fanny pack, Amalgam satchel, Amalgam bag, Amalgam backpack, Amalgam compression purse, Amalgam compression bag)

Kill a zombie, loot the corpse, touch the chi with right click menu, eat "Edible chi" and that will give you all the recipes from the mod. After that you will be able to create objects made of Chi.
Only 1 chi per corpse, no RNG involved.

I recommend using Craft Helper (41.x), looking for Chi Control tab in the crafting menu (after eating Edible chi) or reading the item list thread to keep track of the materials for recipes. Tooltips are also included in all recipes to help in the construction of the items.

You only need to eat it once per character to learn the recipes (unless I add more recipes on future updates, which you will need to learn), but you can use "Edible chi" as an emergency drug to keep you fighting for your life, but be careful! It'll give you a lot of hunger, thirst, stress and it'll make you drunk.

• Since the drugs Edible chi and Concentrated edible chi makes you drunk, you can die if you mix them with pills or if you are using mods that penalizes alcohol consumption (like Dinamic Traits)
  
• Beards can be seen while using the suit. I was unable to fix it despite many tries. Keep a handy razor!
  
• The suit it's kinda distorted on female legs. I was unable to fix it, sorry!
  
• Upgrading a bag with items inside WILL DELETE THOSE ITEMS. Please, read the tooltips and always take out your loot from bags before enhancing them
  
• Amalgam suit and Amalgam gas mask can only be fixed doing right click on the suit itself, same for changing insulation
  
• Making some items "favorite" renders them unable to restoration, fix or upgrades until you unfavorite the item
  
• Restoring, changing insulation or upgrading items will unequip them and you'll have to equip them again manually.
  
• Upgraded weapons may need to be manually adapted to your preferred slot again.
  
• Currently Amalgam gas mask won't work with some air hazards mods.
  
• Some tools won't work for actions like mechanics, since the game asks for the specific items (like a literal Screwdriver) instead the tag type for some reason.
