Carlow Ireland

Based loosely on a description of the area my grandmother was born in the early 1800's. Updated to the 21 century. Plenty of open land to open a community and bring the country living to your sims. Located in the south-east of Ireland, 84 km from Dublin. At the 2016 census, it had a combined urban and rural population of 24,272. The River Barrow flows through the town and forms the historic boundary between counties Laois and Carlow.
Ports and Railroad are waiting for a design.

* This map isn't quite as flat as it looks. I preserved most of the heightmap, so there's a lot of subtle slopes. Flatten areas before detailing them if you need precision.

* Remember I put down unrealistic roads than I usually do on my maps. To access or modify them all, I recommend 81 Tiles for this map. You'll need it along with Traffic Manager if you want to increase the road capacity, which is pretty low by default.

* Adaptive Prop Visibility Distance is required for the mountain grass to appear properly. If the performance impact of
that mod concerns you, don't subscribe to it or the grasses.
