Marble GP Kosovo (Pear Judo)

Hey guys,

enjoy a pear as you prepare for combat here at the Marble GP of Kosovo!

Kosovo is one of the youngest countries in the world gaining independence from Serbia in 2008 after the disbanding of Jugoslavia in the early 1990s. It is not part of the United Nations, however the majority of the UN countries acknowledge Kosovo as an independent country.

As an independent country Kosovo also has its own teams in the Olympics. And in the history of the country they have won a total of three gold medals - all of them in Judo. Furthermore, the area in which Kosovo is located today was once called "Dardania" meaning "pear land".

The track represents both of these characteristics with the marbles racing above a judo field and around 3 giant pears.
