SR-3 "Vikhr" (Whirlwind) is a compact Russian automatic machine developed on the basis of the silent automatic AS "Val". The SR-3M is distinguished by the possibility of using a silencer, metal magazines for 30 rounds, installing optical and night sights, a folding left frame butt (borrowed from the AS "Val"), a flag fuse, made according to the SVD type, and a new forearm with a folding additional handle.

In this mod, SR-3VS is presented, where "S" means "silent".

The mod requires an installed modification of the AS "Val" from Spy, since the "Val" and "Vikhr" use the same cartridge. The modification also uses a magazine enlarged to 30 cartridges, copied and modified from the magazine from the AS "Val" .
