rp_malice_slugville

Slugville is one of the many cities destroyed when the fissure appeared in the sky, the tribes saw that as an opportunity to use it as sanctuary to initiate their plans to destroy the world.
ThemisCorp, one of the most powerful coprorations left in the world also ventured into the city with the plan to re-establish and prepre it for civilization and help the world nations with rebuilding the earth.
But the city is still damaged and poisoned by the blight, it can be felt in almost every corner with death lurking in the shadows.


This is an edited map of rp_liverfailure_braindamage, rp_downtown_v2 originally.
Now comes with a different name and a redesign for a new atmosphere for my soon to be my own gamemode 'Malice'.

The changes are not major, I mostly touched the lighting, skybox, removed assets that belonged to Industrial Nightmare and redesigned some areas to my own likings
Slugville brings a new atmosphere with a mixture of warmth and cold feelings. as if the world is safe but in reality its much more dangerous than it was before.


A couple of important things to know before you download this map:
1)The photos were taken on Malice and not on Sandbox, so when you download the map it will look different to you because it will be missing the filters Malice is using.
And since this map was made for my game I preferred to post pictures of what it supposed to look like and not what it looks like without the necessary filters.
However if you check the last screenshot I posted you can see you can activate SOME of the filters to get the full experience. I highly suggest you turn these on before exploring the map, Otherwise it looks bland and ugly and this is not what I intended for that to be.
2)I didn't build cubemaps because of the amount of lights I'm using and compiling it on 'full' will fail to bake most of them. Regardless of that it still looks terrific for as long as you have the filters on.
3)If you want to use this map on your server feel free to, but if you want to edit it then save both of our time and don't bother asking because the answer will be no.

Once the game is ready you will be able to experience it in its original form with all the features of my game:)


You don't need to download anything, Everything is mounted into the BSP so just download and have fun.


Some decals are missing and cubemaps are a little buggy
those things will not get fixed though since I'm done working on this map for good...
