Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy has successfully reinvented himself more times than just about any other pro wrestler in history.

Alongside his brother Jeff, Matt became a star during the Attitude Era as a member of The Hardy Boyz. The duo has teamed up in WWF/WWE, ROH, TNA/Impact, and most recently, AEW, winning major tag team championships just about everywhere they've been.

On his own, Matt is a two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and ECW Champion who has held nearly every midcard title in WWE over the past few decades at some point.

During his second run with TNA/Impact, Hardy introduced a new character, "Broken" Matt Hardy, leading to a massive following chanting "DELETE!" in unison before, during, and after his matches. He popularized the cinematic match with "The Final Deletion" and went on to participate in follow up matches on Impact, WWE Raw, and AEW Dynamite.

Hardy signed with AEW in 2020, initially in his "Broken" character, but he has since used a "Big Money Matt" gimmick in addition to his Hardy Boyz persona alongside Jeff.
