描述
shes just a humble farmer. probably.

Passive:
Ven-Rysa can't normally turn around. She will walk/run backwards instead of turning. You can turn by using certain attacks like nair/jab, or just use a special in that direction. It's slightly buggy and you still can sometimes randomly turn around and stuff. (Dan moment)
4/5/23 edit: she has a back strong as well now.

NSpecial:
Ven-Rysa takes damage and releases a slow moving flame that can be destroyed by opponents. The flame is harmless, but will explode if an enemy is hit into it, knocking the opponent back to her.

FSpecial:
Dashes forward and slashes. Becomes a stronger version that moves farther when used backwards.

USpecial:
It moves up.

DSpecial:
When used on the ground, perform a small hop forwards.
In the air, this move becomes a weak downwards kick that you can jump cancel out of on hit. Hold the special button while landing to transition into a melee slash.

Has support for Final Smash buddy and Munophone (touch).

I really like this character's mechanic(s)! The way Ven can't normally turn around most of the time, leading to her default stance looking like it's backwards reminds me a lot of CatDog in NASB! It's a great way for messing with your opponents by using your stance to make them less likely to get a good read on your next moves! The animation on her sprites is amazing as per usual, and the moveset, with the gimmick in mind, is just incredible.

The cool down period between uses of n-special seem unnecessary as it is now, it's not like a useful projectile that would be overpowered to spam like Anglara's projectile or something similar.

N-special also gets destroyed by weak non flinching projectiles too, making it not worth setting up in a lot of scenarios.

At first I thought this gimmick wasn't really substantial enough to justify it's presence, but now I think I mirror the praise the other commenters have stated. n-special doesn't seem as useful though, I think it should have a hitbox when you deploy it that knocks the opponent in the direction of the orb that remains active like a trap to make up for how laggy and easily destroyed it is.

So I can't help but wonder, is this character's default stance supposed to be backwards? Because if feels odd to have longer range, easier to land backwards side special be stronger than the shorter range, harder to land forwards side special. Especially when getting hit resets you to the default backwards stance. It makes going for the forwards side special seem rather pointless, when the better, easier option exists.
