Bourbon Vanilla Island

A new map in tropical setting - 100% Vanilla, only free updates, no DLCs.

The island has a ring highway which brings traffic to your start square even without harbour to enable a full vanilla gameplay.

This map was a small sandbox for me to try out a couple of things:
- Create a 100% fictious, but physically plausible topology using a terrain generator = The topology has been created using World Machine
- Create an island map
- Stay within vanilla limits of trees and props (which is easier with a small island :-) )
- Create a map in a tropical setting (which makes it hard to stay in the vanilla limits for trees)
- Trying out the new trees by MrMaison which have been included in the free update during the Airports DLC roll-out.


As stated above, the map is 100% vanilla and I tried to optimize the map for the vanilla theme. However, the vanilla theme cannot compete with custom themes from the workshop and thus the screenshots and the video that you can see above are done with the Waiheke Theme by creativeDEX. (btw, thx for your workshop items and the amazing Fairytale Keys - follow him on Twitter for screenshots)

As you are already downloading a custom map from the workshop, do yourself a favour and use the Waiheke Theme as well.
