Trophy Truck Project

Hello everyone, I have been quitely working on trying to make the ideal Trailmakers Trophy Truck since October of 2019. Since then, I have made countless revisions and several publications. So I'm publishing this as a vehicle that will be updated throughout time for the forseeable future.

I'm working on this vehicle platform until I can comfortably take nearly any jump and land without breaking parts. Maybe it's impossible, but I haven't given up. I'll slowly add and change parts and continue to optimize over time.

Trophy Truck Version 8, Revision 4.

• W-A-S-D: Movement
  
• Spacebar: Boost

The handling of the vehicle will change over time, if you wish to keep a particular version of the Trophy Truck, save the vehicle into your library.

• Rear Wheel Steering reduces the chance of the vehicle from flipping.
  
• Weight in the rear in not encouraged, but sometimes forced due to chassis space limitations.
  
• While more speed is fun, it is not always beneficial for the handling of the vehicle or impact ability.
  
• Always place the small rocket exhausts as low as possible for in-flight balance.
  
• While you should always keep the engine blocks as low as possible, rockets take priority.
  
• Suspension blocks being setup one level lower than the chassis will reduce the chance of the chassis breaking.
  
• The game doesn't always calculate impact correctly, so it is not always the fault of the vehicle should it fail.
  
• Armor plates below the vehicle can sometimes help prevent damage.
  
• Making the suspension in the rear one unit taller than the suspension in the front, you gain better impact ability.

Every major Trailmakers update, and a couple of the lesser updates, have broken the balance of the previous versions of my Trophy Truck lineup. These have unfortunately and noticeably raised the center of gravity on vehicles (Previous versions never flipped, but now they do). Which forced me to seriously optimize nearly every aspect of this vehicle the best I could. Expect more changes.
