Unfortunately, due to Kenshi specifications, that is not possible.
I wish there was a setting like in other games to hide the head armor or something...
In conclusion, I don't think this mod is the cause. Perhaps it is due to a conflict with your environment or with another mod.
There was also a recent major update to Kenshi, so I checked with FCS, turned on only this mod and checked the operation in the actual game, but could not see any drop in FPS.
WORKS as of Feb 2024, but it dropped my game to 8 fps no matter where/what i do.
3080ti, on M.2 drive, i9-13900k.
tbf hasnt been updated for a year and a half, but just wanted to warn people.
Unfortunately, the specifications of the game make it impossible to make them invisible on a by case basis.
It is possible to set some headgear to be invisible and others to be visible.
However, different people want different headgear to be invisible, so I make all of mine invisible.
To counter the problem, please use FCS yourself and set the headgear you want to make visible to the vanilla state from the mod settings.
Also, this is not a mod I made, but you could try using a mod to add new invisible headgear while leaving the existing headgear in place.
