How to Download Levels from the Workshop

This guide explains how to download and play custom saved levels from the Workshop that others have made. These are save files produced by other players using in-game building tools.

Step 1: Subscribe to Workshop Levels

In the main menu, click the [Workshop] button.
On the Workshop Items menu, click the [Browse...] button on the bottom-left.
The Steam overlay should appear, bringing you to the workshop.
On the rightmost column, find "Browse By Tag" and select "Level" to view only levels.
Click the green [+] icon that appears when you move your cursor over an item you want to download.
Close the Steam overlay. If you press the [Refresh] button on the Workshop Items menu, you should see the items you subscribed to listed in the Subscriptions column.

Step 2: View Subscribed Levels

In the main menu, click the [Sandbox] button to view sandbox levels.
Click the [Workshop] tab on the top-left.
In this section, workshop items you've subscribed to will appear here. It may take a while for the items to appear, especially if you've just subscribed or have a slow internet connection.
If you don't see an item, you can click the [Workshop] tab again to refresh the page and re-fetch your subscribed items.

Step 3: Select & Play

In the [Workshop] tab, you can browse through the levels you've subscribed to.
When you found one you're interested in, click on it. A description will be shown in the right panel.
When ready, click the [Play] button on the bottom-right!
