Mammoth Basin

DEV NOTE - This terrain probably requires the TEST version of the game as of now because it uses the new borders system. I anticipate they will be releasing that update to the normal branch in a few weeks.

Mammoth Basin is a terrain designed to provide an enjoyable playthrough (especially for cosmonaut mode) in a pleasant alpine environment. Although there are some large moutains which will provide a challenge for urban design, it also has many large flat areas for building and farming. It has plentiful resources which are placed for challenge and aesthetic. There is moderate access to customs offices and starting electricity, a bay which provides ship access to both factions, and two rivers which allow for sewage discharge and industrial access. It uses the new border system to follow the topography in areas, giving it a more natural feel.

The heightmap is sourced from real world elevation data from Naches, WA. The sea level and rivers have been modified for game play reasons. At this time I'm not planning on making a populated version of the map, but if people request it I might add some starting villages in a new version.
