Swedish locomotive Class T43

Swedish State Railways diesel electric locomotive class T43. 50 units were built by NOHAB from 1961 to 1963. The locomotive was used for both freight and passenger service. T43 became the locomotive that finally replaced steam locomotives in Sweden in the 1960s.
During the 1990s, the Swedish State Railways got rid of all the class T43 locomotives. A few were scrapped, but most were sold to Banverket or TGOJ. Since then, they have been sold to many other different private companies, and many are still in use today.
