辰野風の駅舎で、日本統治時代の1917年に建設された赤レンガの歴史的建造物。2016年10月に台中駅付近が高架化されて台中駅に新駅舎が誕生し、旧駅舎の駅としての機能は終了しましたが、そのままの状態が残されて、ここに鉄道文化園区を設置する計画があるそうです。
本来はこの左側に増築部分があるのですが、森谷帝二氏の影響で、モデルは増築部分がありません。
A Tatsuno-style station building, this red-brick historical structure was built in 1917 during the Japanese colonial period; in October 2016, the area near Taichung Station was elevated to create a new station building at Taichung Station, and the old station building no longer functions as a station, but it remains intact and there are plans to establish a railroad cultural park here.
Originally, there was an extension to the left of this building, but due to the influence of Teiji Moriya, the model has no extension.

駅前ホールは広くて、お店や好きなものを設置することができます。
The station hall is large and can be used to set up stores or whatever you like.
