@WormGang it's supposed to deconstruct into a random unidentified genetic material, but it looks like a recent update changed how genetic material works as well the item identifier. Should be fixed now. Thanks for letting me know!

@Neexdle it has the same spawn parameters as all other eggs, meaning it'll occasionally be sold by merchants in research outposts & cities, and has a 5% chance of spawning in wrecks & abandoned outposts.
