Azurite Bay

The photos are taken with a map theme and a color correction, but this map can be played in vanilla mode, even if it is advisable to take the 81 tiles 2 mod to be able to exploit the whole map.


Azurite Bay is a temperate map, based on the city of Florianopolis in Brazil.
The map has been worked to offer a maximum of construction sites without erasing the mountains which are the typical topography of this region.

The name Azurite Bay comes from the color of the water which is azure blue.

You need the Mass Transit DLC because this map uses a two-way highway contained in this DLC.
Otherwise no other DLC is used here.

If you don't have the DLC the road will not appear.

The trees used are those of MrMaison, which come with the free content of the Airports DLC.


For an extra level of detail, the map includes settings and adaptations for the Intersection Marking Tool mod. This one is purely optional, if you don't like or want to use this mod, the map is fully functional (and still looks great) without it.


The map theme used for the photos is a mix of several themes that you can find here: Azurite Bay Theme mix

The LUT used here is Relight Average, but it is also possible to use Relight Neutral.

Relight settings are shown in Azurite Bay Theme mix photos.

If you don't subscribe to the map theme and the LUT, it won't prevent you from playing, it will just be less visually attractive.


Connections:
- A single highway crosses this map from east to west. 4 motorway exits have already been built, and a national road allows access to the whole island.
- A railway line follows the highway and also allows access to the island.
- 2 airways cross the map and 2 sea lanes allow ships to dock anywhere on the map.

Resources :
- Not far from the starting tile you will be able to extract ore, you will find a little further on the forest and fertile areas for agriculture.
- Some oil spots are also available around the island.
