i suck at dodging so i like this

does this mod remove potion sickness??? I dont have it after this???

Btw still works and even works with fargos dlc (at least from what I’ve played so far (king slime)) so if youre planning to play the dlc too then :)

if you're accepting suggestions i think it'd be cool to have an option where defense damage still exists but is just heavily nerfed (regens like 3x faster, can only affect up to 75% of your defense, and can't affect damage reduction since normally it is able to for some reason)

2024/10/18 Calamity 2.0.4.004, it still works.

@ุReshy Yes. Does it not work in the latest version? I haven't checked on it in a while, but whenever Calamity updates and breaks it, I try to fix it.

@the Child of Night It's a mechanic in the Calamity Mod where certain enemies and bosses when they hit you will temporarily decrease your defense. Which is a stupid mechanic as there doesn't need to be a penalty to being hit because being hit is the penalty. It was added seemingly so the Calamity team didn't have to balance their strong bosses or high defense armors and items. At least in my opinion. I hate the mechanic so I made a mod to remove it.

I'm sorry, but what is Defense damage? this is my first time hearing that term. to me it sounds like it is one of two possibilities:
>it is a mechanic that uses the users defense as a means to calculate the users attack or damage output,
>or it uses the Target's defense to do the same thing, witch one sounds like a cool gimmick while the other sounds like it was intended to one tap stuff, which would be a good reason to use this mod.
so what is it exactly?
