Cargo Station with Tram Tracks

Regular DO assigned vehicles can still use this cargo station, but when it comes to freight trams using these, they sadly have to be assigned to cargo line.

Sadly I don't think so.

From previous tests me and few other fellas tried, we were unable to make distribution office work with trams.
And even if, it might not work since we have tried similar tests with distribution offices for trolleybuses (trolley trucks) in the past and they didn't worked either. They worked only with power management turned off, but when playing with said feature on, the distribution office won't send out the vehicles stating that "some vehicles are without fuel". And since trams on road have very similar behaviour to trolleybuses, I have a feeling that even if we managed to pull in a freight tram into DO depot, it'd not work.

And when it comes to railway distribution office, that one will only allow actual locomotives and freight cars to be purchased, you cannot force a cargo tram to be there and therefore the vehicle won't be allowed to switch to the street mode.

Both "Pracovní Vůz" and "Tramwaj Transportowy" have been updated with pre-coupled variants and some new other stuff as well. These can use the full capacity even on the tram tracks.

I've also had the idea of making a "set" with 1st vehicle having higher capacity. Will see about that thing, maybe I'll update both Pracovní Vůz and Tramwaj Transportowy with this feature. But adding freight cars to it isn't really my thing. If anyone wants to do it themselves, you're free to do so, just credit me in the description or add me as an "co-author" if you reuse the model for the "1st car"

I contacted devs about it. Sadly, the road vehicle code is looking only at first vehicle and rewriting it would risk introducing bugs for the sake of mod. Passenger trams have same problem, but passengers are simpler as they are only one underlying cargo type, so they get merged with first vehicle.
However it would be possible to make permanently coupled multi unit trams just like trainsets, trucks with trailers or KT8D5 already work in vanilla.
All that is needed to do, is to either take two "Pracovní Vůz" units models or just one and some cargo train car model, make them single vehicle and give it appropriate stats.

Those would sadly be useless atm. Since the game for some reason allows only 1st cargo tram car to be filled with resources. So running more than just single cargo units will not make any difference right now.

Can you please make tram-compatible vanilla cargo wagons?

It actually work fine with distribution office. Why is the description saying otherwise? Screenshots are correct.
