The Fulda Gap represented the shortest route from the border between East Germany and West Germany to the Rhine River. Throughout the Cold War, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Warsaw Pact military forces remained heavily concentrated in the area.



This map is based of Fulda Gap. Due to the lack of cold war germany maps on the workshop, I decided to make one myself.
Heavy foliage may result in frame drops. AI also may be retarded at some areas.
All the models execpt the trees are made by me.

This is not accurate represention of the Fulda Gap since in real life the terrain is hella flat, and that would cause all the AI to shoot at you miles away. Bugs may occur when playing

If this is the actual Fulda Gap then there should have been no concern of a Soviet bullrush, given how absolutely obnoxious the ground depressions are.

I getcha. Still, be nice to see you come back. It has good microterrains and everything, decent long range combat. Night mode makes it even more interesting.

Lots of modders try too hard with the things they do, putting in too much detail and ulitmately losing vision, making a map that works more like a showpiece than something fun and engaging to fight on.

@Ghost993514 I really would like to do updates and changes to this map, but sadly I've completely lost access to this map. Thus this map will stay like this forever.

Hey dude, great map overall. One recommendation though- make the hillsides/berms/whatever a little less steep, and perhaps run AI pathfinding again. Maybe add a forested patch.

Good microterrain in the more open areas.

Love the map, I hope you do choose to start doing this again.

Hey guys, I plan to return to Ravenfield in about 2 months (hopefully), Once back, I'll start making maps yet again.
