Final Solstice Campaign - Level 2: The Grand Forest

I'll be putting this campaign on hold indefinitely. I'm not sure if I'll ever finish it. I can't afford the time right now to make more maps :( I hope you enjoy the maps I've made :)

After your ship was shot down by a mysterious watchtower, you got to work on mowing down Mental’s minions. Your mission remains: stop Mental’s general from sending his troops through the portal to Tunguska. Now you must keep pushing through and get out of this forest so that you can complete your mission.



Well well, finally here is the second level of Final Solstice, just for you. This took way too long to make; for more than a month I didn’t have much hope for this level. Despite that, I kept working on it, and with the amazing help and feedback from the playtesters I finally managed to get it to a state I’m happy with. Second levels aren’t notorious for being memorable, but I hope this one is. Like usual, I wanted to try something different for this level – a slightly different style of gameplay – I hope you like it. Please share your feedback, good or bad, as it’ll help me polish some rough edges in this level as well as the future planned levels for the campaign (I like comments).

I may make all custom enemies, particle effects, and models a separate resource in the future (don’t know when).
