That should indeed be possible. You would not get rid of the tooltip part of it. And it would show eg. "Melee Attack: +0 for Miners, Dwarf Warriors and Longbeards units" and so on. Which would grate on my soul looking at
I am not going to change it because, as I explained, I am happy with the result.
But please feel free to use and modify my mod however you see fit.
If you need help getting started with modding I can send some guides your way. It really is very easy to get in to and requires no special knowledge about coding whatsoever.
The only hiccup is actually getting the modding tools installed and figuring out what files to open with it. And it is very easy to find guides for this.
Keep in mind that it won't be compatible with anything that changes the red skill tree.
That is why i turned the old buffs down to be negligible instead as this unintrusive modification makes it compatible with anything, even mods that affect the same skills. And I also like the idea that a dawi lord's buffs would be stronger for dawi units. So that is why I made it the way I did. The real OP thing about the mod is obviously the Barrier, but i just love that stuff too much to get rid of.
I can use ur mod as base for my red skill line overhaul? I will give u credits
Please let me know if it doesn't work or if there's something wrong with it. because i can't test it myself right now
