E-2 Hawkeye replica with full interior


The E-2 Hawkeye is a carrier capable, all-weather, twin-turboprop, American tactical airborne early warning aircraft build by Northrop Grumman.
It was developed during the 1950s as a replacement for the E-1 Tracer and first flew on the 21 October 1960.
Since then it has been in continuous service for the US-Navy and a few other countries, during which it has been constantly updated with newer equipment.
Unlike some other AEW&C aircraft the E-2 is not based on a preexisting aircraft, but specifically as an early warning aircraft.
The C-2 Greyhound is a cargo aircraft which is based on the E-2s airframe.

This replica is not really based on any specific generation, since it features the older four bladed propellers but also a newer digital cockpit.

Still i think this is one of the most accourate replicas currently on the workshop, it features:

A fully decoed quite accourate exterior.
- Exterior is in fleet colours and prepared for Camo. (alloy and applique)
- Her engines catch on fire if too damaged.

Spend a lot of time and effort on this, so i really hope you enjoy this replica of in my eyes very beautifull aircraft.
She can defend herself against lighter armoured cheaper enemys like lower DWG vessels or a single SS-Jet, she is however mainly intended for map recon and as support for other units.

Note that it will probably need updating when the experimental brach merges with stable since the cram meshes will be replaced. (Done)
I might add the new propellers too if i think they are worth the effort of retrofitting.
