Valuable Veterans - Quarter effect

描述
The pretense around this mod is that makes Veterans more valuable in the army. As in most Total war games veterans are only a little bit better than standard troops, this changes that, by only by a quarter of the growth scalar of the original

It adds a significant morale (leadership) boost for Veterans and makes them better at Melee attacking and defending, meaning they become some of the best units in the army, and the least likely to break.

It also buffs higher ranking generals, so that when troops are in the aura of higher ranking generals troops get a bonus to morale, and defensive and offensive stats, as they would when fighting next to the best generals such as Flavius Aetius or Attila himself!

It is save game compatible.

It works on all factions.

It also effects the AI.

@vargasguerrero113 there's loads of mods that add ranks back to RoR, this then applies on top, no point doing something that has already been done

hey i have to do to you a suggestion about this mod and its because of the regiments of renown of the vanilla game. they are all unit rank 9 but they dont have the stats improvement that have the basic units so this units become sometimes even worst statiscally than base units which are rank unit 9

@Bladeuk I checked it now, it seems to work but the mod has very different logic to rank bonuses and what your mod gives is WAY too much compered to SFO. Do you do commissions? I would be willing to pay for a modder to go into SFO files learn the logic of the rank up system there and create a veteran mod that gives around 25% more each rank so they truly are more valuable but not game to OP and still has a nice flow to the game

Yeah, if two mods use the same tables, the one lowest in the load order will overwrite the values of the other one

I don't use SFO so I don't know what values they have edited but if its the bonuses they will be overwritten

@Bladeuk even if SFO edits the amount of xp required for a level up of a unit and the amount of bonus it gets per rank of unit?

@DoubleFishes, it will work with SFO if you load SFO before this in the mod load order
