描述
RASU Soldat
Specialized paratrooper. Most often dropped down from about 40km a.s.l. Equipped with a specialized vest that uses inertia drives to slow down the unit from a fall, proper timing detected via altitude sensors. RASU's are prominently dropped behind enemy lines to take out enemy infrastructure, or in areas rapid response and attack is needed.

setting to max iterations and continuous fixes it

just noticed my setting were weird it was at 16 and discrete i normally have max iterations and hybrid or continuous

The quality of their drop is determined by the physics calculation type. This, like all of my contraptions, are made for Continuous and maximum iterations.

the paratroopers drop when they are still pretty high up causing them to break their legs

That does not happen to me: he should be locked in the "cowering" position. Connect the foot to the fuse with a fixed cable.
