描述
This mod allows you to use spears and baseball bats as fuel. You cannot burn any spears with attachments or spiked bats.

New:
Added stakes to the burn list. They burn only slightly better than a pinecone.

Compatibility:
Should work with everything.

Balance:
Log = 6.0,
Plank = 2.0,
WoodenStick = 0.25,
TreeBranch = 1.0,
+ SpearCrafted = 0.75,
+ Stake = 0.60,
+ WoodenLance = 0.95,
+ BaseballBat = 1.25,
UnusableWood = 1.4,
Twigs = 0.25,
ToiletPaper = 0.2,
Pinecone = 0.5,

I felt the values I gave were reasonable enough. A spear is more meaty than a pinecone, but less than a branch. The woodenLance (the fat wooden spear you loot sometimes), looks like it has a lot of mass, but probably less than a normal branch since it is a spear. I gave Baseball bats extra burn time simply because they probably more dense / mass than both a spear and a wooden lance.

Technical rambling:
I am only adding to campingFuelType, which allows things to be used as fuel. I am not allowing the burning of attachments and spiked bats as I feel that they should leave something behind if burned, such as nails. I am not sure I would add a feature to allow for those modified weapons to be burned since I'd have to do a lot more than just add to the what can be made into fuel table. So don't hold your breath on seeing that feature in the future.

I personally wouldn't mind losing the nails because if the bat is already broken then it would be realistic to assume that the nails are all bent and useless already

If the thing you are trying to burn has nails in it, such as a spiked baseball bat you cannot burn it.

If a lot of people want this feature I can add it, but I don't plan to simply because you cannot recover the nails.

Luminus, I just booted up PZ on latest build as of 5/25/2023 and check on this mod. It is indeed working. If you continue to have issues let me know.

I simply updated the burn list config to allow the above items to be used as fuel. There shouldn't be any conflicts with any other mods unless those mods also update the burn list. If they do, simply make sure this the last mod that is loaded and it will overwrite their settings with mine where they conflict.

Hi. Can anybody confirm if this is working? Can't tell if it's broken because of a mod conflict, or it's simply not working at all. Have a baseball bat in inventory but can't add as fuel to a campfire.

Updated to add woodenLance, the wooden spear you sometimes find as loot, as an additional fuel source.
