Before you ask:
- I will start updating Hairstyle Parts soon with new ones from this addon and Deep Cut idols. I do not know when will I start since I'm not actively into Splatoon stuff, so don't pressure me on this especially in the comment section.
- Edit: Unfortunately, this is my last contribution to the SplatSource community since I mainly use Blender for more than a year and S3 Hairstyle Parts will not happen.

After playing Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere and ripping the models from downloaded NSP rom, I decided very quickly to make an SFM port of 8 new hairstyles for the SplatSource community. Last time, my S2 Hairstyle Parts addon was a success with almost 7K subscribers.

Not only I ported the hair models to Blender but mesh editing to make sure it is compatible with Enhanced Inklings/Octolings 2.0.

@Silv.Ace right click hair model > "Add Override Materials" > right click again > "Show in Element Viewer" > "Model" > scroll down and find a texture > Add new attribute > color > type in "$color2"

How do you change the colors of the tips, spots of the Octoling/Inklings hair?? i wanna do a mix of White and Blue

@KidCaustic right click the hair > Utilites > Add Scale Control to Models.

@gumiBoomy lock the bip_head and rootTransform of the hair onto the model, scroll Default or Zero, and then adjust from there.

how do you add these hairstyles to the head of the splatoon 3 octoling/inkling models? i tried to, but i had some issues. :( :NSRyinu:

i used this with the splat 3 octoling models but the hairstyle seems to be bigger than the head? how do i fix this?
