Lore:

A species of small flying creatures on the Tr'allanga home world that evolved from an arthropod similar to a "bombardier beetle".

Diet:
literally just tree sap from Pillar Trees; extracted by using its rotary drill beak.

Active during:
Early sun rise - Late sun set.

Place on the food chain:
Low.

Reproductive behaviour:
Males find females during the summer by smell, compete by fighting over females and the winner will get the female.
After mating; the female and male pair up, build a nest in the tops of Pillar Trees and take care of their eggs/babies till the babies are able to fly on their own.

Method of movement:
Mainly flight; powered by a "bombardier beetle" like system under their body that acts as a thruster.
Will use the hooks on its wings and its spiked legs to climb up vertical surfaces and to hold onto trees when feeding.

Lifespan:
12 years; becomes mature at 6.

Intelligence:
Low- moderate; similar to a pigeon.
